Welcome to our services page. In these unusual times, we are trying to provide access to our churches for all those who need it, and especially to those who are unable to attend in person.

Sunday Services

We are delighted to announce that our buildings can once again open for worship on Sundays. To provide for those who cannot attend physically, or would rather avoid large gatherings, we intend to create livestreams of our services.

  • Sunday 17th January - Eucharist at St Mary's, 10:30am

  • Sunday 24th January - Said Eucharist at St Stephen's, 9:00am

These can be found on our YouTube channel.

Sunday 24th January - online service, 10:30am

The annual service of Christian Unity will be held on Sunday 24th January at 10:30. As usual, Churches from all denominations across Launceston and the surrounding areas will be joining together in a service of worship. But this occasion is marked by Christians across the world, and this year there will be contributions from various parts of the globe. So it will be an international event when we can learn from and pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ whom we have never met, but with whom we are one in Christ.

The service will be streamed from here:

Alternatively, you can follow the service on Facebook here:

Zoom Services

Every week, we meet together via the Zoom platform to say Morning Prayer on Wednesdays at 9am, and to say Night Prayer (Compline) together at 7.30pm on Thursdays and Fridays. You can use the Zoom links below to join us on any of these occasions - all welcome. These are no longer than 15 minutes, and help to begin and end the day in a prayerful way. We look forward to welcoming you at these meetings. A waiting room is in operation - the host will admit you as soon as they spot you.
Please note: we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone failing to respect the Christian ethos of these meetings.
