Services

Update: we are now using our buildings for some services. Click here for details.

Welcome to our Virtual Services page! In these unusual times, with our buildings being closed to visitors and clergy alike, we have risen to the challenge and can now provide a range of options to enable you to access worship and prayer through virtual methods.

Zoom Services

Every week, we meet together via the Zoom platform to say Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer on Wednesdays at 9am and 4pm, and to say Night Prayer (Compline) together at 7.30pm on Thursdays and Fridays. You can use the Zoom links below to join us on any of these occasions - all welcome. These are no longer than 15 minutes, and help to begin and end the day in a prayerful way. We look forward to welcoming you at these meetings. A waiting room is in operation - the host will admit you as soon as they spot you.
Please note: we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone failing to respect the Christian ethos of these meetings.

YouTube Services

Our YouTube channel contains our entire archive of services since Mothering Sunday, and will continue to host our weekly offerings. These include services of Holy Communion, Morning Prayer, Services of the Word, plus specific videos of weekly sermons, Psalm readings, and our exciting "Storybox" series with Mother Alison, retelling the church year stories for children.

Our "My Favourite Psalm" series can be found here.

We are always looking for more people to read scripture, and to write intercessions for our videos. If you have a favourite psalm which you'd like to read for us, we welcome all offers to be involved. To be involved, please email launceston.parishchurches@yahoo.co.uk.

Alternative Options

Not keen on YouTube? Please email launceston.parishchurches@yahoo.co.uk and ask to be added to our mailing list. Each week, we send out reflections, prayer services and other resources that you can use in you own home to pray each week.
